Updated for 2026 AMC signup

How to sign up for Space-A travel

AMC says its new Travel Self-Signup Tool has been live for all AMC locations since March 26, 2026. Travelers should still preserve proof of registration, verify terminal-specific information, and keep another signup path available when technology or confirmation fails.

Primary option

AMC Travel Self-Signup Tool

AMC identifies the self-signup tool as the new registration option for Space-Available and Space-Required travel at all AMC locations.

Other AMC signup options

AMC also publishes automated webpage signup, manual AMC Form 140, and email signup instructions. Availability and terminal handling can vary, so use the controlling terminal directory.

Space-A signup checklist

  1. 1. Confirm eligibility and documents. Your category and documentation affect whether you can travel; the official AMC guidance remains controlling.
  2. 2. Choose the terminal. Find the exact passenger terminal you want through the official AMC terminal directory ↗.
  3. 3. Register through an AMC-authorized method. Prefer the current self-signup tool when appropriate, while knowing the published form/email alternatives.
  4. 4. Save dated proof. Keep screenshots, confirmation pages, or sent-email records showing when you registered. AMC has itself warned that confirmation-email problems can occur.
  5. 5. Verify before repositioning. Registration is not a reservation and does not guarantee a seat. Recheck schedules, roll-call information, terminal access, and documentation requirements close to departure.
  6. 6. Protect the trip. Maintain enough time and money for a commercial or alternate-terminal fallback if mission needs change.
