Lajes page displays older U.S. COVID testing entry language
The current Lajes Field passenger-terminal page displays language requiring a negative COVID-19 test or recovery documentation for travelers entering the United States, while CDC rescinded the general U.S. air-travel predeparture testing requirement effective June 12, 2022.
What to do: Verify the current terminal instructions, Foreign Clearance Guide requirements, destination/host-nation rules, and any mission-specific health requirements before travel. Do not rely on the older testing language by itself.
